29th April 2012 "Black Dog Ride"
Dear Branch President
My name is Steve Andrews and I organise group motorcycle rides to raise community awareness of depression and suicide prevention. Depression is an illness which affects 1 in 5 Australians and it’s a rather shocking fact that more people die from suicide each year than are killed on our roads.
I invite my fellow Ulyssians to join me and riders all around Australia on our National 1 Day Ride which will take place in April this year. There is a flyer attached with details of the Ride in your State/Territory and I would appreciate you circulating it to your members.

As well as raising awareness, our Ride will raise funds for Lifeline which connects people with care by providing services in Suicide Prevention, Crisis Support and Mental Health Support. If you or someone you know is at risk of suicide seek immediate help. Call 13 11 14 for 24hr Crisis Support.
Thank you for your support and I hope to see you on a Black Dog Ride soon.
Regards

4th - 6th May 2012 "Moree Muster"
Dear Ulysses Branch Webmaster and Newsletter Editor,
The Moree Muster is on again in 2012, and as this will be the 10th anniversary, things will be bigger and better than ever.
The dates this year will be Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 4, 5, 6 May, 2012.
We have now finalized our plans for a Friday Night Camp Oven Dinner, country breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday mornings, a Thunder Run through town on Saturday morning, local Guided Rides, the Bikekana Games and a Show’n’Shine on Saturday afternoon, plus a great Saturday Night Dinner Dance.
To assist in letting your members know about this great Ulysses event, I’ve included a copy of the Moree Muster flyer, in both PDF and JPEG, and we would like to ask if you would consider adding this information to your Branch's website and Newsletter.
Of course, full details including accommodation suggestions and the registration forms are available on our website.

18th - 20th May 2012 "Port Stephens Meet & Greet"
Hi guys & girls,
Port Stephens Ulysses Group is having a meet & greet in May this year & have asked me to extend an invitation to all groups to attend. We would greatly appreciate a mention during your next meeting & if you could print the flyers in your newsletter that would would be terrific.
I have attached the flyers & more info can be found on our website as well as photos from previous years. We normally get 250 to 300 attendees & a lot of positive feedback.
Friday night is dinner at Murray's Brewery (own expense) beer & wine tasting & entertainment. cheap bus from Nelson Bay & surrounding areas ($10return, i think). Saturday morning, park the bikes at D'Alboras marina, a band will be playing, guided tours in the arvo then the main event at Soldiers Point Bowling club, dance the night away. Sunday morning, brekkie at Soldiers Pt then either meander home or spend a few days enjoying the beauty of Port Stephens.
Thanks heaps.
